A Pleasant Evening

This will just be a short post. We went out walking again tonight before dinner. It's good to just get out. On our return trip, we ate supper at a restaurant called Paradise Cafe. The food was inexpensive and, of couse, much cheaper than room service. We ended our meal with some ice cream. We were surprised that Isaac liked the cookies they put on the side even better than the ice cream. He was sitting beside Marty looking out the window of the restaurant during most of the meal. He loves watching the cars and buses.
Bathtime was a thrill again. He threw the boats in and climbed in after them. When you meet Isaac, you will see that he has beautiful teeth. Let me tell you why. I hesitate to even tell him when it is time to brush - it becomes a marathon. He got pretty upset at me tonight when I finally made him quit brushing.
He is now trying to fall asleep in his little bed. We are about ready to turn in also. Remember, pray, pray, pray. We love you all.

What a precious sight. There is nothing more precious to me than a baby or child sleeping. Anna Claire and I slept together this weekend and she is so beautiful sleeping. She is beautiful anyway but so peaceful when she sleeps. Kay Pope said maybe Isaac will grow up to be a dentist. Wait until you get that child home and in that big bathtub in your master bath. What a goodtime he is going to have. The picture for his room has finally been signed by everyone (you know who was last, yep my boys) and dad will hang today. Karen Brown came over yesterday evening and installed Isaac's car seat. Everything is on go for you all to come home. So please come home soon. AC is still doing great. She has truely amazed me. I think that is one big prayer God has really answered. She is just going with the flow. Again I will say I love the blog. Mom and I were talking this weekend and saying what would we have done without this blog. It has truely been a wonderful way to keep in touch. Love you all so much. Cindy

Ingram family,
We, too, are truly enjoying your journals. I'm taking notes on things that you've done, places you've seen & where you've eaten! Thanks for ALL the info.
We're rejoincing that Isaac's transition seems to still be progressing nicely; we'll pray that it continues that way. Also, praying the passport/visa issue is soon settled & that you can be on your way HOME!!

Wow, if you miss a day or two on this blog, you're just behind the times!!! This is so much fun to read!

OK, I love you two, but I am just rolling on the floor laughing and imagining you two with that darling little sprite getting out and about in Hanoi!! Isn't travel fun?!? Learning so many new things...the shoe trip sounded so cute!! I can just imagine you all crossing the streets and dodging the scooters! Loved reading about the bath boats and Isaac's joy with them! Can't wait to see you in your Vietnamese finery! I hope you'll use that for your Christmas card this year and keep me on the mailing list! When you go out, can you get people to translate with Isaac so you know what he's thinking about all this? It's his first trip to Hanoi too, right?

I know for sure that God is protecting you by surrounding you with Hanoi angels on earth! Jennifer, maybe one or two of them are riding on those scooters! We are all praying for you and trust that the Lord is with you every moment.
Love, Susanne

Since there were a lot of pictures on the blog right now I decided to show the class what Anna Claire was experiencing. I let her tell some and she wanted me to tell some too. At first she was somewhat shy about it and then she took off. She was extremely excited and wanted to be the one in control of the computer scrolling. The kids were fascinated with what was happening. I explained to them when we are waking up you all are getting ready for bed and vice versa. Some understood and most didn't but I tried my best! Anna Claire saw some pictures she hadn't seen before so she was even more excited in explaining them and who everyone was! Take care and keep blogging. angie
